TANF Eligibility Case Manager: Clovis and/or North Fork Location, One (1) opening: Full Time, Non-exempt Employee. Under limited general supervision of the TANF Client Programs Supervisor, the TANF Eligibility Case Manager determines an assigned client’s initial and continuing eligibility for categorical assistance and program services through interactive interviewing and fact gathering. Once eligibility is determined, the TANF Eligibility Case Manager assesses each assigned client’s specific needs for social services. In conjunction with their client, Eligibility Case Managers develop prescriptive Responsibility and Service Plans to assist the client in becoming self-sufficient and independent. This may be through direct intervention, counseling, referrals or support services that enhance academic achievement, provide job training, improve basic life skills, or lead to personal growth and development.
The person appointed to the Tribal TANF Eligibility Case Manager classification is an “at-will” employee.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work or related field or High School Diploma or GED Equivalency with four (4) years directly related work experience in program coordination/management.
