Purpose

Recruit, hire, train and help retain qualified staff for Tribal Government operations. As well as provide personnel services that meet departmental needs in a manner consistent with North Fork Rancheria priorities and Native Preference goals.

Applicants

Those applying for all positions must possess a valid California Driver's License and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.  All applicants must have the ability to work with people from diverse cultures, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and must always maintain cultural sensitivity. Carpenter

Full-time, non-exempt employee.

A carpenter is defined as a craftsman with a skill
and experience level greater than an apprentice carpenter and construction laborer. The
carpenter position assists construction foremen, apprentice carpenters, and construction
laborers in completing construction-related tasks in new construction and rehabilitation. A
carpenter shall be familiar and will assist in performing multiple construction tasks in all phases
of construction. A carpenter shall have a basic understanding of all types of construction tools
and equipment. A carpenter shall have the ability to read construction drawings. A carpenter
must have knowledge and the ability to follow all required construction codes and regulations.

$19.89 – $28.63 per hour, depending on experience.
