The Public Wifi Pavillion provides free wireless Internet access for community use. By accessing and using this service, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

GENERAL USE:

1. Purpose

The Wifi-Pavilion is provided to support community engagement, education, communication, and access to information. Responsible use is expected at all times.

2. User Responsibilities

  • Lawful use only: you agree to use this network only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, tribal and local laws.
  • Respect others: Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to disrupt their use of the network.
  • No Commercial Exploitation: the Wifi Pavilion is intended for personal and community use. Large-scale commercial or business operations are not permitted.
  • Device Security: you are responsible for the security of your device, including having up-to-date antivirus and firewall protection.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Accessing, transmitting, or storing unlawful, obscene, or offensive material.
  • Engaging in hacking, attempts to bypass network security, or unauthorized access to systems.
  • Distributing spam, malware, viruses, or other harmful programs.
  • Torrenting or Peer-to-Peer (P2P) File Sharing – Downloading, uploading, or distributing files via BitTorrent or similar services is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal Downloads – Accessing or sharing copyrighted, pirated or unauthorized content.
  • Excessive bandwidth usage that disrupts or interferes with the service for others (e.g., large-scale file sharing, streaming or downloads).
  • Any activity that could damage or impair the operation of the network.

4. Privacy and Monitoring

  • This is an open and unsecured public network. Information sent or received may be visible to others. Use at your own risk.
  • Users should not expect privacy when using this service. The network provider reserves the right to monitor, log and restrict access as needed to ensure compliance with this policy.

5. Service Limitations

  • Availability of the Wifi Pavilion is not guaranteed and may be limited or suspended at any time without notice.
  • The provider is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from use of the Wifi service.

6. Enforcement

  • Violations of this Acceptable User Policy may result in suspension or termination of access privileges.
  • Illegal activities may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Agreement

By using the Public Wifi Pavilion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

PAVILION RESERVATIONS:

The Wifi Pavilion may be reserved for approved community, educational, cultural and social events.

1. Eligibility

  • Reservations may be made by recognized community members, organizations or groups.
  • Commercial or for-profit organizations events may require additional approval.

2. Reservation Process

  • Reservations must be made through North Fork Rancheria Administration office. (559) 877-2461
  • A completed reservation form is required.
  • Reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to approval.

3. Event Rules

  • The reserving party is responsible for setup, cleanup, and leaving the facility in good condition.
  • Decorations, signage, or equipment must be pre-approved and may not damage the facility.
  • Alcohol, smoking, or controlled substances are prohibited.
  • Noise levels must remain appropriate for a community setting.
  • The reserving party is responsible for the behavior of ALL attendees

4. Fees and Deposits

  • A reservation fee and/or refundable security deposit is required.
  • Fees help cover cleaning, maintenance and utilities
  • Failure to follow rules may result in loss of deposit and denial of future reservations.

5. Liability

  • Users and event organizers assume responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from their activities.
  • The Wifi Pavilion and NFR are not liable for personal property loss, theft, or network related damages.

6. Enforcement

  • Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the Pavilion, loss of future reservation privileges, and/or referral to law enforcement.
